Here are pictures of Merts E39 M5 Widebody sittin' proper. I will post more pictures to show the true color of the car. Custom body work done by AutoExplosion... Wheels courtesy of DPE-Wheels...

I was fortunate to be able to watch this car transform into what it is. I can honestly say this is one of the best executed E39 widebody in the Nation if not the world. For some of you the BMW class just got harder lolololol.

I will post pictures or Mert will post showing the true color of the car.

C&C Welcome.

sick car and well executed, my only concern is the rear has no true lines and breaks to it. I don't like how the bumper is molded to the quarter panel, it looks like Bubba's fat lip.

Nice but wish you didn't have to mold the rear bumper to the quarter panel.

It looks great but I hate to say this, it's a 4x4. Way to high for all that nice body work.

are you even remotely serious?

first, theres the diving board style front lip that sticks out about three times as much as it should.

next, who came up with the genius idea that e36 m3 style sideskirts would work on the e39? and to top it all off you chose the ghetto method of molding plastic (or maybe fiberglass) onto sheetmetal.

which brings us right on over to the next area of complete fail...

you molded the ENTIRE rear bumper onto the rear of the body?! seriously, how could you even consider this to be even remotely good looking?

i would take a bone stock e39 over this insult to german engineering any day and use the money saved to make the car perform and handle even better.

dont get me wrong, i've seen way worse, but i just hate the fact that everything done to this car body work wise isnt even close to making it look any better than stock

/end rant.

its a showcar....therefor the purpose is for it to stand out from a crowd of E39s at carshows that probably have similar mods, since the market for the E39 isn't as big as it is for the E46.

to each his own and as long as you stand by how you mod your car, there's nothing wrong with that

I happen to know Mert personally....great dude...down to earth and humble

i'm well aware of the fact that show cars are meant to stand out, and its not about subtle mods... this however doesnt change the fact that molding plastic onto sheet metal as ghetto as fukc and an aesthetic disaster...

Just my opinion (no offense to the owner)...It looks horrible!!

I'm really sorry to say that because I know the owner spent a lot of time and money in his project, but its time wasted. Again, just my personal opinion.
