BMW service did a bad job!!

Hey guys, i really need your help here. I've had my car in service for like 2 days. They did a regular routine maintenance and they changed the thermostat because it was stuck open, changed the power steering pump because it was going bad. I got the car back, i drove it out and it was all good. I later found out that they messed up the Radiator Bleed Screw. My car overheated because it started leaking and steam was spraying all over. The bleed screw broke off and only the cap came off and half was stuck in.

Now guys, my main question here is, my car is still covered under CPO warranty, do you think they would cover the engine if the overheating did any damage at all? After all it was their fault for screwing up on the job right? Just because it's a BMW dealership doesn't mean they are the most gifted mechanics with the best knowledge in the world, they make mistakes too.

I was left in the middle of a snow storm with my over heating car for 8 hours waiting for a tow truck from BMW roadside to pick me up obviously i turned off the car when the needle shifted to the red zone, i was freaking out, i told the guy at the toll booth i have to turn off the car.

I would guess that they would, but I can't speculate too much. I would pull out your warranty and take a look. This isn't really a question for this forum, I would post in the General E46 forum, you are much more likely to get solid advice on a question like this. After all, your actual question is warranty and service related, not really mechanical. Good luck getting this resolved, it sounds like a major headache.
