GTI guys are good, i'll be out Saturday night for sure.

And yea, let's definitely hit up the creek tomorrow. Do you want me to drive out to get you? I'll be rocking my dad's jeep, it is unstoppable in this weather.

Hit up a sideroad in it last night, and I kid you not the snow was 3 1/2 foot deep, it trucked right through it like it was nothing.

What? The backrests part? are you talking about the seat itself or the metal piece behind it?

Need Pics

Its stuck where it connects in the places in the red box. This is an older pic I have the bottom piece out. The sides are off the hooks but the center is stuck.

It looks like there are a few on top and I see the clips on the bottom. These clips are a complete ***** to get unhatched, I think I need to undo the top 1st... Its going to be about impossible to get the bolts out though where they are, they are behind the center headrest.

There has to be a diy for this somewhere.

I had to lay on my back in the trunk and undo two levers on the parcel shelf.

Ive done this before. I have no inclination to do it again, its neither fun nor comfortable.

Step 2 - Remove the center headrest. Your sedan backrest (upper part) will not come out otherwise. None of the DIYs I saw mention this.

If only he would say how
