ok well i went out to the garage to look for my matco spring compressor and remembered i loaned it to a volvo buddie who broke it and i left it there, ill see if i can get it replaced under the warranty, if not ill just buy one from harbor frieght

Apparently the e90 springs are a pain in the ass, people usually use two. I may just take it to a shop man, it's turning out to be quite a job.

You can rent the spring compressors for like 50 bucks at orielys then when you bring them back they give you all your money back.

I did the fronts and rears in my car all by myself, each spring compressor comes with 2. I would recommend doing it with someone that knows how though your first time, it can be dangerous.
