I remember reading stock intake, headers (any brand), stock exhaust with certain parts cut out is the win?
Thanks man but you have no reason to be jealous, you have a 330 that means business.

I made my header decision based on the fact that for the S54 headers are the best place to gain power, primarily because you remove the cats. After reading numerous threads and looking at a ton of dynoís itís clear that the SS stepped headers are leaps and bounds ahead of the rest. The stepped design allows you to gain max top end HP (great for a track car) and also gain low end torque.

I already had the upgraded (wider) intake boot and better panel filter. Like you said, there has been a consencus stating this to be best. After speaking with both James Clay (bimmerworld) and Will Turner (TMS) I came to the conclusion that I would buy the aFe stage 2 intake. Both told me that theyíve seen consistent dynos with 10-12 whp gains and no lose in tq. This is the same intake that that TMS ran in their Grand AM car until Grand AM made them remove it due to power restrictions.

Bimmerworld also let me in on a secret E46M3 theyíve been working on to compete in GTS4 that they dynoíd at 346whp. That car had an aFe stage 2 intake, SS non-stepped headers, BW race exhaust, and TMS pullies. So itís not quite a coincidence on what parts Iíve chosen. When it came to NA power I wanted the best so through research and speaking with a number of race teams Iíve chosen what Iíve found to be the best of the best when it comes to power.

Yes I will do that, but I doubt he will give any info if it's for a car BW uses to compete. Race teams like to keep their info a secret so that other teams can't steel their secrets.

It's for sale, so.... I'm sure he wouldn't mind spilling some of the beans. Besides, they use 328i's for the tourings now I believe, instead of the 2.5l 325i.

Let me start out by saying hes a guy who's been around for a while (OG, notice the join date) and has provided ALOT of good information and guides to the community.

He is known in OT for being a douchebag and pwning da noobs.

(He'll call me out in a min for this. Thats why he searches his name)
