**** the damn half-shafts on these cars, if you were to take a s54 and swap it into another car then boost it, the thing would rape.

That'd be totally gay, I'd do an ls1 to my car though, all aluminum!!! Add a good cam and ls2 intake, and a t56 out of a m6 f body and I'd have a beast, sucks that I'd have to abandon mist all the BMW stuff, Even the speedo

The S54 just cost so much to tune, that's why HPF's 1000 horse power kit is around 40k. I agree with Big Jake, Ls1 or even a 2JZ. I know I know, supra motor but they are reliable and have a high power threshold.

Oh my rear shock mounts are Meyle HD and I got some front strut reinforcement plates as well, I'm gonna take my front struts out to see If everything is right... My car sits way too high in the front...

Yea there's a guy called mike Omara in st louis that will 2jz swap my car, he's already done a 2jz in a 36m3

Yeah I saw a build thread for that car on another forum. It had the BMW faithfuls going crazy.

Another option is the V8 from the e39 M5.

I like those cuase there dohc and have itbs, and also rev to 8 grand, my moms neighbors m3 has the supersprint x pipe with eisenmann race and sounds like eargasms everytime

gah! i just changed the CPS on the car and nothing happened!!!! still runs like a peice of ****!!!!!!! same ****ing p0339 code keeps popping up!

crankshaft position sensor...and it was the right one....the broken one was split in half and it was obvious it was broken.....do i have to go to the dealer to reset the codes and fix it?

i wasnt asking a question....i was stating my situation....i figured out what i need to do, so ****....i dont complain and whine all the time....it just pisses me off when my BMW runs like **** cuz its 9 years old and BMW has to make everything so complicated

Take it to kc autosport or whatever its called, I bet they will do it for like 5 bucks.
