Not a great day for my car.

Walking up to it I noticed moisture in the driver side tail light. The passanger side was replaced after the rear-end accident, but Im pretty sure the drivers side is original



Then, me and my friend are playing around on our way home. He said he noticed black smoke coming from the exhaust... could be one of many things, but I bet its cause the O2 sims and the shark injector have the car running so rich. Still going to talk to him about it tomorrow though.

Any temps below about 60F and I have no traction

I did, but couldnt find any that were already coated. And I was told that the wrap actually reduces heat more. True or false? Plus I think the wrap is cheaper. And someone mentioned earlier that it helps to keep the heat in, this would be bad for an intake, correct? Or would it help because its more insulation. That is if I have left over. Also, what was the verdict on soaking the wrap? I know this may be crazy and dumb but would it help to put wax on to keep it from rusting? Just some random thoughts

Well I have the gold foil stuff for my intake. Not installing Till I get an injen cai.

This is new. Only thing I changed since the first video was golf-tee mod

Does injen make them for the 3-series? I looked but never found one. Those are supposed to guarantee like a 20hp gain

I can get an injen CAI for you Jake.

They don't make one for the 330.

I saw a picture of a supra once that had its entire exhaust wrapped. Looked so raw.

I don't know much about the exhaust wrap. I know when I remove my carpet I will wrap my whole entire exhaust to keep cabin temps down.

I do believe the header wrap is a insulator where the gold tape is for reflecting heat. That's why the tape is good for intakes because it reflects heat that is already in the engine bay.

Both pics are of the same car dude. The dforce ltw fives are his track/autox wheels and the bbs rx are the daily driver wheels.

Just pulled the DME, overnighting it to bimmerworld tomorrow to get the tune done. I know its late notice but I'm gonna try and get some dyno time next week or the week after, anyone wanna join?

If not I'd like to set something up further into the summer. I'm calling Modified tomorrow and I'll post up what they say.

Just checked Modified's dyno prices. It's 50 bucks for 3 pulls and 60 bucks for 3 pulls with wideband AFR. We could also pay 110 for 1 hour with wideband AFR's.

I'm going to call tomorrow to get details.
