Best power: Custom 3.5" single with a Y collector relatively close to the headers. Will wake the dead.

Best sound: Highly objective. The Magnaflow muffler (not cat-back) that GF-Performance carries isn't too loud, has a nice low rumbly sound down low, but when you get on it (higher rpm) it gets sporty and raspy. I dont mind rasp, just as long as its only in the upper end of the rpm's. Devak (the curry man) has it on his 330 and I want to do an exhaust vid of it sooner or later. Get in contact with Ryan or Jacob about getting that muffler. Its around $200 (I'm not exactly sure on this) but its what I want to do, eventually.

Quad: Not worth it IMO. You would need to do alot of custom piping for no difference in sound, its only visual. And even then, its pretty expensive

so this might be a decent deal? http://forum.e46fanatics.com/showthread.php?t=848768
Unfortunately, I guess well fortunately after installing my headers I love the sound and want more
Do need to find a CAI that will work with my xenons. One guy is selling a complete dinan kit but wants $400 for it

that exhaust probably isnt a bad deal. Look into part numbers and used / vs supporting GF-P and buying new for the same price

I have the aFe which is a short ram-air box type, not a tube type like the dinan. It fits and sounds nice. I went for the oiled one which was cheap from jlevisw.com

http://www.jlevistreetwerks.com/3-Se...duct_info.html

I think I paid like $285 a year ago

Oh, and you don't want Gruppe M. There have been people that have lost power with it. The filter style is restrictive and it blocks out almost no heat.

Any sound clips? And how much would you be looking for? Oh, and is it catback or just the muffler?

yes it will, only difference is that the input on the 330xi muffler has 2 pipes, mine has 1, but a y pipe will fix this, a muffler shop will probably ask around 70 for this install.

I'm thinking about going for just some cheap lowering springs. Will get the look I want, will raise the handling capabilities just a bit, oh and its a super cheap intermediate step up before coils. Screw my shocks, they're already about 80% gone (imo) with 70k miles on them. I don't think their trashed yet, but considering I don't drive much, I may be able to eek out another year of use on them before coils

lol

Apparently he got like 100 pms with offers above asking price... Could end up being a bidding war on ebay.
