No gain. In fact, numbers were slightly lower (1.5hp, 2tq). I hardly consider it a loss, as things can vary all the time. My last dyno was right after an oil change, blah blah blah. Also, 99% of the graph is the same.

I'm disappointed, but not distraught. For a 140k motor, it's still pulling strong and consistently. Going to Stett for the exhaust tomorrow. If I don't make any power there, I may start to frown a bit.

Comments welcome.

In reference to his new bored TB

I would agree with you but it kinda depends. Putting bored throttle bodies on a completely stock car, you right. Butttttttttttttttt, if you put bored throttle bodies on a car with larger intake plenum, cams, and full free flow exhaust like mine you will see gains. Not large gains but some.

I found that on these cars it's not one mod that makes a difference it's the whole system.

yes

aggie had cmas at the time, but not his custome exhaust. he saw good gains going from magnaflow to custom though

not many people do intake manifold work because 1. the bmw one is pretty darn good and 2. you have to seriously understand what you are doing because otherwise it'll be tuned completley wrong and whatnot.

if you wanna talk intake technicals then talk to pei330ci. he's got that nuts m54b30 build that he runs an oe intake mani on

That's a major difference with the M3. If you wanna make serious NA power you get a larger intake plenum and it just so happens that the great engineers at BMW already designed one.

I have determined that it only takes just under an hour for my air con to become legitimately cold
