Whats the point in the e85 conversion though? So he can get better MPGs..?

E85 actually means worse gas mileage. However, it's cheaper than premium fuel and yields 10% gains over pump gas.

Just ordered a new oem M3 front bumper. I wanted to get the euro one so I didn't have reflectors but time was an issue so I will just have the oem ones painted to match. I also ordered the CF brake ducts to fill up those fog light openings. This should solve my brake fading issues.

I'm also now in a time crunch to get a welded in rear cage or atleast something for the rear strut towers. I'm going with a full coilover rear suspension and have to have the rear tower reinforced before I can do so.

I just ordered my carbon fiber moon roof panel. I'm not gonna be able to wait until this winter. The remaining interior pieces along with the moon roof and headliner are all coming out asap.

LOL, I actually haven't spent very much. OEM bumper was only $277 and James is giving me some freaking sick prices on his stuff.

Speaking of which, if you need any oem parts I've found that Husker BMW can't be beat.

Just wait till I drop some serious $$$ on a JRZ RS Pro dual resivoir suspension. That's what's next.

Actuallyy I have been searching the part out threads for months trying to find freaking part number 8. I refuse to pay $50 new for both of them. Do you just call them or go online?



Also, have you guys already registered at HPT for the 13th? I bought a helmet.

Yeah I sold it for hella cheap considering new the full CF ones go for close to 1800.

I'm not going back to HPT probably until September. It's crazy hot out there in July and August.

I thought I didn't mind the heat either, until I tried it. 90 degree day which feels like 95-100 with 110 ground temps with no cover anywhere near the cars. Can't run AC on the track because it will cause you to overheat and if you are even remotely pushing and you have the oem cooling system you will overheat anyway forcing you to either lift off the throttle or come of track before the session is over. I've found that if you really want to get your moneys worth then July and August are not the month to go.

With that said I do plan on keeping an eye on the weather and if the forecast is in the 80's I may register last minute.

Edit: Right now it says it should be 91 and sunny.

Ah, that makes sense. Well I guess I'll keep an eye on the weather too.
