On another note, I spoke with him about gear sets and he recomend going to a 5spd, lsd, with 3.91's and a custom CF driveshaft. Me thinking...........

I think M54 and S54 transmissions are interchangeable... but I could be wrong.

In that case, it could come from a 99-05 sedan or a 00-03 coupe.

It's a purpose built ZF trans. Nothing factory swap about it, it's way to much money right now though. In a perfect world where money wasn't a problem it would be the best route to go. For me though now with the money I have a simple 4.10 swap is the only logical choice.

Dude just take out a business loan and help me build my car. I'll pay it back, that way Julie wouldn't know........................lol. I think 20k would be a good start, full suspension, custom cage, pfc bbk, new trans/rear end. That would be about 15k right there but would be super competitive. Lets do it.
