The 3.5 V6? That engine is huge for a tiny Type R

Sounds quick though. TL's alone are fast. (apparently.....kevin)

Just saw an 840ci manual last weekend. It was parked next to Brad's 840 at the BMW Oktoberfest event. Guess BMW made a few.

Was it red?

Maybe it was a manual swap from something... The E39 540i had the same V8, and its not uncommon for those 5'ers to have manuals, I don't think.

Or a graymarket car, the Europeans got the choice of an optional 6 speed on the 840ci iirc. But every single north American market 840ci was automatic, I have an issue of motor trend from the early 90s that reviewed the 840ci.

Yes it was red (burgundy). I can't remember the guys name who owned the car but he represented it was original. Brad also stated that it was rare but a few manuals were produced.

I know that guy. I used to cruise around with him when I had my GS-R. That thing really moves now but, I'm pretty sure it's a TSX swap. Is it a black ITR?

Is anyone on here good/decent with photoshop? I was wondering if someone can photoshop the ///M colors onto the front of my bumper down on the bottom of it. Similar to the way a carbon fiber CSL front bumper leaves the carbon fiber exposed on the bottom but I want the middle color to span the part underneath where the mesh opening is. I know this sounds confusing but I thought it would be worth a shot. Here are two different photos for someone if they can do that.

He said it only made 314 at the wheel and does 12.8 in the 1/4.

That may be right, I just know that he said TS something. Yeah it's black with white wheels.

If it's a tl it would have a j32 v6, if it's a tsx swap it would have a k24

I've ridden in a civic sedan with a j series v6 swap, and the car was downright nutty, sounded excelent, torquesteered like a pig, and had no hood.
