I have A/C, but I only run a belt maybe 3 months out of the year.

rubenk, I would recommend checking your idler pulley. Both jay and I replaced ours and that got rid of the squealing. Autozone carries it, and its really cheap and easy to do.

Once or twice, after sitting for a week or more and not running, my 330 would develop a slight squeek. It goes away after a few days of driving though. I wonder if its the idler. I know the belts aren't the problem.

The customized Ring seat is the same as the original ring. Only the FRP seats are FIA Approved, the carbon seats are not.

Looks like I'll be shooting for FRP.

Its better than the yellow kevlar.

I need to make sure the Schroth quick-fits will actually work with my seats before ordering. They are only approved for use with oem seats

So why get a Status seat that's FRP when there are far better companies out there. Not a single race car in any worthy organization runs Status, that should say enough. The only reason to even get a status is if you want kevlar, alcantara, or leather.

I'm wanting Alcantara with red lettering and possibly red stitching

I'm wanting them over sparco or recaro purely for aesthetic reasons.

DO NOT GET ALCANTARA, it will wear so so so freaking fast and will look like crap. Especially since you will be DD'ing it. Geting a "race" seat for aesthetic reasons??????????????????????? fvcking shoot me.

It looks like they should. Post on the CCA board, I know some guys have them and you could try them out first to see if they fit.

Tecnocraft makes the seats, they are cheaper through them I believe. I have yet to look into it but I don't think they're FIA approved.

I haven't looked into seats all that much, I do want something with red lettering to go with the theme I'm shooting for though. I wouldn't doubt that I could get some custom seat covers made by sparco or recaro.

The Status Ring is identical to the Recaro Pole Positions and the Sparco Evo.

Dude, you could take the original seat covers to any sewing shop and have them redo the seats how ever you want and it would probably be cheaper.

I know the status is identical to the others but the pole position and evo are super super base model seats.
