Checking in from North of the river, marked my calendar for this Sunday's meet and will post it on e90 as well. Looking forward to getting some runs out at HPT when they open in late March, hoping it's not swamped now that KCIR is done!

The cobra is atleast better suited for that then the M3. You don't see any BMW sponsored drag teams for a reason.

I'd be curious as to what it could do. might do like 3 runs just for kicks and giggles.

The cobra is perfect for drag, except for the crappy tires and new trans. Gotta get some more miles on it before we really push it.

I get the feeling the only thing BMW about this car are the roundels and body panels...

I wouldnt call it "perfect" for drag. The chassis and suspension are still tailored towads turns.

I think it sounds bad... just really boring. Kind alike a E30 with a raspy muffler.

The new turbo cars just arn't gonna sound like an M3....

Andy, I was told that car had a dump valve and was pretty much running without the rear mufflers.
