Edit: isn't there like a guy that sells bmw parts for like 5% mark up? Is he legit? Anyone have buying exp with him?

I ordered a new rubber flex disk / guibo for the steering linkage. My car is old and the part wasn't too expensive and is supposed to be super easy to install. I think it could help tighten up the front suspension even more. I also ordered a new Rouge Engineering clutch stop that will be metal instead of the modded oem plastic one I was running earlier. So now I'll have those two little things, a fan, and camber plates to install this weekend.

After this round, I'm done. Until I go for harnesses.

I did my steering guibo when I did all the suspension work. It made a world of difference (of course I also had about 1" of play to either side, so...). I actually wish I would have replaced it with this:http://www.vorshlag.com/product_info...roducts_id=502

It would eliminate all of the rubbery steering feel. Cough cough something to consider on your M, Andy.

Yeah, my car is 10 years old and its probably never had that replaced... I'm thinking it may be an area where improvement could be easily had.

Maybe I'll do that some day, looks really nice! I didn't know it was around. Regardless, $360 is more than I wanted to spend right now--I went crazy buying parts this winter so I gotta slow down for a while.
