I do apologize for the shitty iPhone pics, I left my camera at home

Regardless, here are some photos from Cars and Caffeine in San Jose. Thats a Z8 on the dyno.

It was at a place called Club Autosport, where rich guys store/work on/dyno/have their cars detailed.

I need to get some good engine pics of your car sometime. I forgot to at last FF.

I'm in the same boat as you right now, hurry up and wait for parts to come in. =/

On another note, we may be selling the 330 on Wednesday

I honestly don't know too much about it. Been there several times for this and that, its certainly a nice campus and surrounding area. The south Bay in general is great, warm and sunny most of the time unlike shitty and cold SF. Plus fantastic driving roads along the coast and foothills. And California is definitely the place to be for car people, particularly Euro car people. Though soCal is certainly more car crazy...

I'm actually going to a BMW meet tomorrow morning down there.

The car / wether thing is deffinetly a perk. I'm not a huge fan of going to school in a huge city.. but it may be ok. I'm just keeping my mind open to something in Cali. I'm thinking major in ME and minor in Business mangement or something? Most of the other schools I'm looking at are midwest so far. I'm still only a junior so I still got some time.

Yea I think thats a good combo. Some schools have special engineering/management programs, such as UPenn's (the good one, not the one that has been in the news) technology management. One thing to keep in mind though is that ME is a pretty rigorous course load all by itself, pretty much regardless of where you go.

The California coast is more or less one big long city. Though the south bay and even LA don't feel like big cities like SF or NY do IMO, because of sprawl.

Yeah, I know its kind of an insane idea. Comming out with some business knoweldge would be really nice though. I think some of those programs are 5 year things, but maybe those are double major types.

The last time I was in California was only for 2 days when I picked up my M3, and before then was when I was really little and we went to Disney land or something . So basically, I've never been to anywhere but L.A. so I think I would have to visit some time before.

The Univesity of Tulsa is like 4 hours away, small, nice campus, engineering and business...but its in Tulsa. Tulsa != [pretty much anywhere in] California.

Right now my list with Medlock is like 35 schools or something rediculous, but he's been kind of helpful. Me and my dad have a pretty good list of like 20 schools...

Finally back in Kansas City after a good weekend in Arkansas.

On Thursday I Bought a 92 F250 4x4 for a grand and beat the hell out of it for a few days. Most fun i've had in a vehicle in quite some time! We were going through the woods and if I wasnt sure if I could crawl over it, then it got the WOT treatment...

But on the note of BMW's, my BMWs oil light blinked on a few times, the oil level is good, so I guess it might of been pressure? I am due for an oil change soon...

If your SURE the oil level is good, it could be the sensor. Mine was comming on a bit, and even though the dipstick said I was fine, I put another quart or liter or whatever in and the light stopped comming on.

The color of the light determins if its low oil level or low oil pressure.

Nice! Is it the 7.3?

For sure. Having a farm kind of place makes the whole idea a lot easier. I've also always had this idea about getting a crown vic, manual swapping, and superchargin it.

This is the truck http://springfield.craigslist.org/cto/2905088036.html

It was fun for sure. Bought it thursday morn, had it back by noon, tagged by 130ish, and in the woods on the mountain by 5, then to a buddies shop and on fire(couple times) by 9ish!

I ended up getting it for a grand, drove it 2hrs back from springfield(to ark) with no issues! Its a 5.8L gasser, all the powerstrokes I found were a couple thousand more, and this one ran too good to turn down. The body and cab are rusted to hell, but the running gear is solid. Getting new exhaust and steering box on it this week, and maybe some u-joints and it will be solid.

On the BMW the oil light was orange, so I guess it means level, it did happen when leaving a friends driveway so maybe it just sloshed weird or something.

I've seen blown crown vics and they can be fun, but I'd keep it an auto. Get an eaton blower off a cobra and it would be pretty easy(and cheap), I bet you could be in a supercharged crown vic for 3-4k(including car). Same swap people do to the mach 1's.

A blown crown vic would be sweet. Id also really like a caprice wagon with the lt1, though thats definitely a little pricier. And the merc 240d. There are so many beaters I want.

e30s have come up in price, I think. Maybe not a ratty one though. Nice price on that maserati.

Id get an older jeep with inline 6 before the 4runner, but thats mainly personal preference.

This makes me so sad:http://jalopnik.com/5902066/this-is-...seen/gallery/1
