Oh, it has brembos too. But w/e.
No. It's an 8" spring because it's a true rear coilover. I have the same thing on my Motons. The length of spring doesn't matter because it is a linear spring. Because the spring is further outboard from it's oem location (it is now on the shock and not the control arm) the force is less. a 325 spring in the outboard location is the equivilant of roughly a 650lb spring inboard. Make sense.

Edit: oh and my car will have a full PFC monobloc BBK in the very near future. Just saying.

Not all of them are, you have to custom order them that way. That's why I jumped on these mofos.

I'm so bored, I'm gonna go home and remove my front bumper to prepare for my splitter install.

But the important thing is that you did the work on your m3. It is your car, that you have put blood sweat and tears into.

Dunno whether that fuzzy feeling is worth 20,000 tho.

I just got back from my first flight lesson!!!

The instructor made me do everything except talk on the radio. Taxi'd down the runway, took us off, flew around the city, checked out my apartment and my work, then flew a little out in the country and climbed up above the clouds so it was smooth, then brought her in for a landing. He did most of the hard stuff on the landing b/c we had a leerjet on our ass though. That was probably the most intense thing i've ever done. It was pretty bumpy due to the winds today, which was a little freaky.

Brad, racecar's are for panzies, you gotta fly!

The build has definitely been part of the passion but there will come a day when I have to start over and I will for sure buy something ready to race then make minor changes.

Seriously guys. Email this MF'er and set up a intro lesson. It is the best 99$ you will spend in your life, even if you only do one.

Mazda mx5 cup race on velocity channel, kinda cool i guess.

Only other options are nhra on espn2 or nascar on speedvision...

I'm not gonna use the word hate but you know what I don't like, is when people call Auotx'ing racing. If there are cones it's not racing. If you aren't wheel to wheel trading paint then it's not racing. That is all.

So rally or baja dont count?

Or any time-trial type of event?

Yes that counts because it's Drag "racing"

I would say those count but no time trials is not racing. I just hate it when autoxers call a 50 second run a race. Drives me crazy. I would call time trials and autox competing but in no way racing.

dude rally racing is the most hard core racing in the world! Baja, Pikes peak! Racing on tracks with gravel pits and tire piles vs 4 foot in diameter trees... Rain dirt snow gravel cliffs. Those guys trailer their balls to the event!

Anyone know how much a stock power-everything leather seat weighs? Ive searched around but it looks like there are widely varying estimates, from 60-80 lbs.
