So what are your thoughts on an LS6 powered e46 M3?

I like that plan but think you should do $10k add a blower and suspension and call it good.

I used to have my own office sadly I'm back in a cube.
If I could get 10k for my car, and that was enough for a blower, rebuilt/new trans, and subframe reinforce, I might do that. Sadly it isnt.

Well, it isnt exactly my own office unfortunately. It is a supervisor office that we rotate out of each shift.

Give me the chassis and I know a guy that would make it happen! He is putting a twin-turbo LS2 in an 84 Chevy right now.

I know of a guy in StL that said he's done a couple e36's and is working on another e46 right now. I could sell my s54 to recoup some of the cost. I'm highly considering it.

Do it, DO IT.

LS6+T56(not sure what other trans options you'd have), but what kind of rear diff and suspension?

But then any chance of competing in an actual race class goes out the window, right?

Not sure on this yet. This would be the time to go to a dog box wth cut gears.

No, there are race classes that allow this they are just higher. Most likely GTSU where the U stands for unlimited.

Yep, got 3 rows of desks with workers that I supervise. its 18 desks, but only around 5 or so are filled at a time for now. We'll eventually fill them all and expand into the space next to me with 120+.

Speaking of LIKE A BOSS, I took an hour and a half lunch break so I could go home and install my dive planes. I'm also getting off at 3 so I can go working on installing the splitter, I have a feeling it's gonna be a PITA.

Those straight cut gears sound insane!!

How crazy are the cars that are in unlimited class though?

*edit* in case anyone wanted to hear one...

I know right and the shifting is crazy fast and precise.

The M3 can handle with any of them and I should be good in the aero department. Most of those cars are running wider tires which I could easily accommodate with some slight fender work. Maybe a 295/305 rear with a 285 front. The question would be the power. I would need to make 600ish usable whp to be competitive in that class. It consists primarily of engine swapped and FI'd cars.

I just have a modding addiction, plus having a LS powerd car with 600 whp would be insane. With the right driver that would be faster around any track than most if not all production based race cars.
