Here's a comparison.

GTS4 max power to weight is 8.5. I'm currently at 8.7, so pretty close to max.
GTSU max power to weight is 6.599. So I would need 440 whp which is pretty doable with a mild LS motor.

440 is very doable with a mild LS motor.

It would be pretty fun, but I wouldnt call it "crazy" power.

Yeah I thought it would have to be but then I started looking at the weights of some of the other cars. They were all close to 3500 thus they needed the extra power to me maxxed out for the class.

During this May's touring club I need to hit the scales about every 1/8 of a tank (so pretty much after every session) to document the wieghts the car is at with that fuel load. Need to know how much gas I need to start off with to have enough to finish at minimum weight at the end of a race.

Why not just figure up how many gallons you need based on the average weight of gasoline? Approx 6lbs per gallon.

Daym! Because racecar....

It looks like a pretty significant thing under the engine. You have an extra plastic debris shield? I'll trade you for some springs

FF really will be interesting. Cant wait to see it with the wing!

Yeah I have one with NACA ducts in it, it's pretty beat up though. You can take a look and if you want it it's yours.
