So my car feels 100x better since I did my front end links on Friday. I had the one fall apart as soon as I got the top bolt loose, so it would appear that I havent had a functional front swaybar this whole time!! No more clunking and the car feels more stable. Now if I just fix the other clunking bushing and get new brakes i'll be good(till the clutch finally goes).

Well I thought I was done spending money for a while but I'm deaply considering picking up the following. This would solidify my cooling system.

So alot of you know my buddy Chase with the 240sx. Well I have another story for you.

So he calls me last night asking how good Wagner pads are. I said they suck, they are a street pad and will most likely suck on the track. Then he mentioned only doing the rears, so I asked if he did the fronts. He said no. So I go on about how you shouldn't run different pads front and rear and how it changes the bais. I ask why didn't he get fronts, he said because he didn't want to spend the money, the Wagners cost 45 bucks. Then I go on and on about how this sh1t isn't cheap and that he should go get the fronts. Then he tells me how he wont have time to install them because tonight he has to put blue tape on his car and wash it. I asked him if he was seriously more concerned with that then being able to stop. What a freaking moron.

Then he began to ask me how he's supposed to get track time if these things are only once a month. I told him if he can't affor 45 dollar pads then he shouldn't even be worried about track time. Is it bad if I hope he wrecks his car, I don't want him to get hurt but he's an idiot and has no business being on a track.

Oh sh1t, I just about fell out of my chair laughing.

The more I think about it the more I want to slap chase accross the face. First his car about blows up on the way to stl, then he shifts at 4k on the track because he doesn't want to break it, then he buys wagner pads for the rear because he can't afford 45 bucks for the fronts, then he would rather wash his car and put blue tape on it then put the pads it.................................................:banghead : Gawd he drives me up a freaking wall with his moronness.

Well I think the exhaust manifolds are about ready on the truck. There was 6 bolts that broke off trying to remove the old ones. Guy had half of them drilled and tapped last I heard last night. After that, it will get some basic exhaust ran past the cab, then trans-crossmember reinforced and be driveable again. Next on the list is steering box(it works but leaks terribly) and super-duty u-joints throughout the truck(7 or 8). Then maybe tires at some point, 1450$ for the set I want...
