get a 328 and spend a little bit on the springs rims and tint and be happy. the auto trans is just a normal automatic, with normal automatics pitfalls. but the sport mode is actually halfway decent.

It just doesnt do anything very well. Not very good mpg, not very powerful, not new enough to have low maintenance, and not old enough to be real cheap.

It might look good, but the same chassis can look good no matter the specific model.

Get with the times Brad... A wagon with a light tint, springs, and nice set of wheels is the way to go...
If my close to 60 year old mom thinks it's cool and would drive it then I would never be caught dead in it. Soooooooooo, no wagon e-v-e-r!!!

I get 15 mpg when I drive my sisters 328xi. The interior is uninspiring and there's no water temp gauge. It's got 235hp, which is plenty. The maintenance is starting to be annoying. Some major part of the cooling system failed the other day, so that's why it was on a flat bed last night, being loaded up to be brought to Kendall. If it had a water temp gauge we may have been able to limp it to the shop ourselves. It looks like the current going price on a wagon with average miles on cars.com is under 20k.

Im not sure if you are agreeing or not agreeing with me on the mpg. But 15 for a dd is not very good, especially when you only get 235hp for it.

My Cobra did better than that. My truck is a terrible DD(12-13mpg), and I will eventually get an econo-box to save gas. My 323ci averaged 25-28 city, and 31+ highway.

I get 17.5 combined in my M3.

I'm kind of agreeing. Its not too special, but there's no question that its a nice car.

An M3 getting that mpg is certainly acceptable IMO. But generic DD should get more, of course, just my humble opinion.

Well my driving style in each is pretty different. I accelerate really slow in the M3, mostly because of the 4:10's and shifting every 2.5 seconds. In the 328 I just floor it untill I reach speed

I think we can all agree that this is a much better option than a 328 wagon
