buy your own boots but rent the board. I have my own ski boots and they're so much nicer than rentals. maybe its different for snowboarding.

I almost rescinded my vote. Snowboarding will mainly happen while there, and welding will mainly happen after you leave.

So really the smarter way is to buy snow gear now and welder later. Maximize their usage at the best times.

A welder it is. I can get a cheaper deal on a board this spring/summer anyways. I really just wanted to get my own setup before I go again this month.

Andy - For me it's worth it to have a board. I will go 10+ times by the time I leave Colorado. At 50 bucks a day for a rental that would buy be a $500 setup. Not to mention that I will use it for many years to come. Over the long run it's worth it.

OK guys, here is an updated helmet design.

So far I have already come up with the following.

- I want him to turn the flag like the image below.

- I want the text under the flag that goes around the helmet to say BWM ///Motorsport, instead of BMW ///M Power.

- He is having a decal made for the visor eyebrow that will say ///M Power.

- Not sure if I like what's on the chin, just a solid black design? Any Ideas.

- I like that name now.

Gentlemen, question. Does anyone know a good DYNO where I can go? I am working on my custom tune, I had called Modified by KC and they are super expensive. They also have been messing up, conducting poor work, bad customer service and over pricing a LOT of work that they do. A lot of bad stories on all these forums, car clubs and in my area with Soldiers in the car meets, Soldiers returning from deployment and their cars still undone, filthy, rotary engines not properly tuned, STIs burning up....... but anyways..... Just need to know a few places that someone can recommend, good customer service and that can work with their customers. Thanks!

Sadly there really isn't a good option. I've used Modified by KC and MC racing both (which are who most people use) and I preferred Modified. Then again I was going just for a dyno, no tuning. I wouldn't let either of those companies touch my car with a 10 foot poll.

I think House of Boost has one to but I haven't done any work with them.

There is house of boost and MC Racing in town. Havent personally dynoed on either, but I talked to both shops when I had my blown mustang, and was going to use MC Racing's dyno when it came time.

I went to 814 Motorsports and had a good experience. I agree with brad, I wouldn't let anyone in KC tune my car.

Deposit sent. I'm hoping to get the loan finalized Monday and pick the car up in Chicago the 25th.

I'm so excited about this car. Same suspension as my old e46 all the way down to the sways. StopTech BBK front and rear. Can't forget the near 500 whp. Can't wait to get my hands on her.
