I dont have the patience to quote/reply to all the supercharger/turbo talk, but here are a few poitns from my experience.

A centri blower will definitely build more than 2lbs of boost at 3krpm...mine would build full boost under 2k and pull hard all the way to redline, never dropping off boost. Some guys that are wanting more boost downlow have started experimenting with small pulleys/higher ramp rates and a wastegate set at their desired boost level. So you put a 17lb pulley on, and wastegate it at 10psi to get your full 10psi way down low.

A roots/twin screw blower will give instant boost off-idle...very hard on parts and traction, but FUN.

Single turbo's take a bit to spool if you get one that can provide top end power. Otherwise they drive around N/A under part throttle.

Compound/twin/sequential turbo's will provide low boost almost off-idle with very little lag, and mainly drive around n/a as well.

Also, i'm glad HPF went out of business. If chicken farmers here can get 500k loans to start a business, but a high-end car company cant float 200k, then they werent doing so hot.

By the way... Some of you may have seen my post on the facebook page about having a meet in STL. I was hoping and thinking of getting a caravan to go and pick some more guys up along the way. Any suggestions or ideas on dates?

So far I was thinking Saturday, August 10th Cards vs. Cubs game later that night, but tickets are kinda pricey. So it's either sports bar that night or choose an earlier date and get group tickets at a cheaper price....Suggestions? You fukers coming???

I would love to see a graph / ECU log of a centri blower at full boost at 2k RPM. I get where your going with it, but you would have to have a very small pully to make that happen..

Agreed on all else though.

17lb pully with a 10lb wastegate sounds awesome!

Yea, it was an exaggeration for the sake of argument, I dont have a graph of my old stang, but it had a 14lb pulley so that could be why it responded better down low. I dont think centri's should be underestimated is all im saying.
