Mobil ATF D/M... Is it good for PS?

Ok, so i recently chnaged out the power steering hoses and flushed the ATF/Power Steering Resv.. My buddy said that this will work ok for the power steering(ATF)

I got the Mobil ATF D/M at the gas station. Wasn't sure if this stuff is ok or not here is a link to it http://www.mobiloil.com/USA-English/...il_ATF_DM.aspx

Just want to make sure its not gonna mess anything up. Or if any of you have used this... THanks

I've been using the Mobil 1 ATF in my PS for a few years. This was because I had a case of the stuff and decided that since I had no other use for it, I might as well use it in the 330 power steering. So far, no leaks or any problems. Regular old ATF still works too.

Thanks, i noticed its not the synthetic ATF is that a problem?

As long as it's ATF, then you are fine.

I used the mobil 1 dexron VI with no problems. I did some research and a couple other members used the new dexron VI as well with no probs

I use regular dexIII for power steering in my 325. perfectly fine.
I use the mobil 1 dex vi ATF in my steptronic, it's been 6 months, runs great.
