E46 Differential Bushing Removal Tool - $80

BOTH TOOLS SOLD!

This tool works great. Made out of very strong material. Will work on 3 series and M3 e46.

Tool is for REMOVAL & INSTALLATION of bushings on the differential.

Price: $80 (+ shipping from Atlanta, GA)

I bought this new off of ebay and used it once. You can buy this for your bushing replacement and resell it for what you pay. This is what you need to fix that rear thunk when putting your car in gear and shifting.

Koch Tools Part #: KT20231

Detailed Description:
This tool is used to extract and re-install the differential-to-subframe bushings (bolts parallel to ground) that are pressed into the rear subframe.

Packaged in molded plastic carrying / storage case.

Operating instructions included.

Material: Black oxide coated steel

Application Make: BMW

Application Detail:
E46 BMW 3-series
E85 BMW Z4

Has anyone actually used this tool. I've read on this because mine is due to be replaced, but everyone I read about demonstrates that this task is difficult and they break tools trying to get the bushing out.

I also have the tool for the other diff bushing. I did not use it however because I have an M3 and was told it would work for M3 and it did no. I'm sure you could get it to work by taking off the rear subframe bracket but I did not want to.

I am attempting to return it but if you would like to buy it also, please let me know. It is brand new never been used.

Its listed on ebay for $181.99 + $12.20 shipping.

I will sell it for $160.00 + Shipping from Atlanta, GA

Here is what it is:

Yes, I used the tool myself. Its pretty simple to use and very strong. I dont' see how anyone could break this thing if it's used correctly. It has directions with pictures to show you how to use it as well...

The seller that I got the front bushing tool (the $180 one) has agreed to refund my money if I ship it back to him.

I'd rather pass some savings along to a fellow enthusiast so the $160 + Shipping From Atlanta offer still stands for the next few days. If no one buys it up, I'll just ship it back.
