Wheel and tire recommendation

Still undecided on what to get. It is between three wheels. 18" M6 reps, 18" ASA AS9 with Black Accent, or 18" Bremmer Kraft BR02 Bright Sil w/Mach Lip. I know people are going to say you should spend more money on wheels but I am fine with these. I think they look nice and at a good price. Let me know your opinions.

Looks like more people recommend 19" since it fills out more. What tire do you recommend?

I had 235/40-18 tires on my 18x8.5 wheels and they fit quite nicely.

I been looking at pictures of 18s on some cars and they look pretty good on them. Not sure what to do.

18x8.5 +35 with a 225/235 works perfectly fine. If you are looking for a more "full" look to the stance of the car, go with the 235 since it will be perfectly square with the wheel.

This should not have any kind of rubbing issues at stock height.

What tire size works well with a staggered setup of 18"x8.5" +40 and 18"x9.5" +45?

18x8 Wheel with 225/40/18 + Wheels Spacers + Lower the car = FLUSH (19s aren't necessary)

Ive owned both staggered and non-staggered, and I prefer the ride in the squared setup.

I am not going to lower the car. I really don't know what I should do. Not sure between M6 or CSL and between staggered and non staggered. Anyone have a side by side picture comparison to a 18x8.5 wheel and 18x9.5 wheel?

any aftermarket wheel you get 18s or bigger will make the car look like a jeep if you dont lower it. even a mild drop would do wonders for its looks.

I'd say pick the same size wheels and tires all around. Works great with the E46 in terms of performance and also it makes it easy to swap wheels around.

and here is my response to what 235/40-18 tires on 18x8.5 wheels look like on my car:

I really do like the staggered look and it looks good on Gloverdale's ride. These are summer wheels and tires.

265/35R18 is very aggressive and rubs in some cases. I'd stick with 255/35R18 rear.

I pulled the trigger and bought the CSLs in 18 staggered. They are on backorder so I will have to wait till middle or end of April. I have time now to decide on tire sizes. I know the recommended sizes is 225/40 in the front and 255/35 in the back. I also heard that I can do 265/35 in the back since I have the sports suspension and it isn't lowered not will I lower it in the future. Gary says that I shouldn't do 265 but there are people who say that I can. What are your opinions? I like to also thank Eddie from Modbargains with helping me in the purchase of the CSLs and even honoring the free shipping.
