fender rolling what to do with te plastik parts in the rear fenders

hello.

i had some rubbing issues at the rear of my car with my acs typeIII racing wheels 19''x9 with 265/30/19 tires,so yesterday i rolled-bent the fenders they are only about 5mm thick now and still look like oem on the outside. so the wheel wont rub there anymore. then i refit my rear bumper and the plastik parts in the rear fender, and gues what these still rub a bit there also is a little hole in the plastik from the tires rubbing.

now the question, how or what do you guys do about this? i want to do this in a decent way. i do not want to cut a bigger hole in the plastik to have no rubbing.

here are some pictures hope you can see what i mean

Seriously? You are going to drive the car like that?

You will probably need to just take out the plastic piece.

Im pretty sure the only options are to cut/dremel the area, take it out, or just let it rub until it doesn't rub anymore. I cut mine out and dont have anymore rubbing. In for other options though.

no im not going to run the car like that.
i took the springs out to test if the fenders woud clear the wheels.
and they can go this deep without rubbing so thats good, just need to find a way to mod the plastik covers in a decent way.

you should run like that, looks nice!!

you have 3 options, remove the plastic, take a dremel to it, or let it rub until it clearances itself.

either one works
