Ebay Aluminum Pedal install issues

Hello all,

So i went cheap on some pedals because racecar.
With that being said, you get what you pay for. The actual pedals the fitment is pretty decent..however the deadpedal and mounting hardware sucks.

The provided screws are too long. The accelerator pedal cannot be pushed all the way to the floor due to the length.... quick fix is me going today to source out shorter bolts. I may swap out the other pedals bolts as well because im not too happy with the idea that they stick out so far which can get caught up with my shoelaces...

As for the deadpedal I actually left it off for the time being.... its too small.
Im sure someone else out there has purchased these, so what did you do?

My only idea would be to spray the stock dead pedal black which will help hide the fact the Ebay one is too small.....otherwise i am leaving it off....

any ideas, input welcome.

I will post pics of my OEM pedals in a bit. Mine were used and didn't come with screws/etc so I used my own. Just used some real short screws and held the back by nuts. For the dead pedal just used regular screws with the pedal being all the way down.

+1. I had a similar set up with my 323i. if you mount the dead pedal at the bottom, you can't really tell that it doesn't cover the entire length unless you actually bend over to look.

Had the exact same thing with my Bimmian sourced pedal covers. I just shortened the bolts with my Dremel.
