Now you'll have tO protect her, your future kid, and the goddamn in-laws.

Now I ask you again - are you packing condoms?

It seems like standard military issue material... are those typically waterproof?

Lots of content, on a lot of different topics. BOB prep, shelter, communication, health & sanitation, etc. I've only skimmed through a few so far but they seem worth sharing. If you come across something good, let us know!

Ideally it would have wheels, be made of hard plastic and would hold two backpacks, food, medical supplies and some other odds and ends. It'll be kept in the basement.
will this work? Pretty affordable.. wheels... store and go.

Honestly, no not really.

Just look at the index and if you see something that you want to learn more about, go to that page. I had the local Fed Ex Office print it out for me and I read it on a flight. I skipped through all of the religious stuff and removed those pages.

We have a couple of those to store seasonal clothing in the basement. They're ok, but pretty flimsy. I may go to Bass Pro this weekend and check this one out....

Just a heads up... sellout.woot.com has SOG FastHawk 3-Piece Camping Set

$34.99
+ $5 shipping

Id jump on this if I don't already have the tomahawk.. which was a xmas present. It was $35 by itself.

How heavy is it?

Googled it, 3 lbs. May be heavier than I need for the backpack.

just read the entire thread. I have a hurricane bag on a canvas messenger pack. Thinking I should scale up with a backpack for civil unrest/ BOB on my motorcycle.

If I had to leave Miami, should I take my car or sportbike? The motorcycle is much smaller, easier to navigate better gas mileage..and my car is lowered..

It's a trade off. The bike will let you navigate roadways easier but a car will let you bring more stuff with you and provide shelter.
