Need help with my senior project for High School!!

Hi I am a senior in high school, and we have to do a senior project. We are supposed to make up a question, and then answer it in a ten page paper. Along with this we are supposed to do a physical project to go along with it.

My question:

How has the aftermarket car parts industry changed the image and the economic standing of the auto industry as a whole?

My project: Take professional racing lessons at Jim Russel Racing School.

Please help by chiming in on my question!! Thanks so much. Any questions please feel free to PM me.

Good luck fitting it on 10 pages!

You could probably make the argument that the aftermarket car parts industry was born in 1886 when Mr. Daimler and Mr. Maybach took a steam powered stagecoach and modded it with a gasoline engine. You could focus on, say, the last 10-20 years and go from there.

Have fun with the racing lessons, but how do you plan to linked them your project?

high school senior project... what the crap I didn't have any of that. College senior project a different story, had to redesign the water flow through a natural draft cooling tower at a nuclear power station

Seriously young man...you need to put a bit more effort into researching this on your own, not relying on us to do the leg-work for you.
This is hardly the place to get help on your school work.

Im not sure I would want to write a 10 page paper on that but good luck. Personally I would go with a dry topic that would have a large amount of scholarly work published on it, plus economic papers suck. Historical topics are generally the easiest (in my opinion) to write on.

wtf that's easy!

My Senior project I had to do a community service project that had to take up at least 100 hours of work and a 15 page slide along with physical evidence of completing it.

Yeah, don't see the connection between the question and the "project" myself either.

What a terrible idea. Do something of which you can actually get 10 pages.

Any subject can be stretched. I gave an hour long lesson once on filling out a 1 page "Work Authorization Form" for the boat when I was in the Navy. Form generally took about 1-2 minutes to fill out.

My senior year at high school was mainly just football, and because we went to the State Championship for our division, no football player had to do any senior projects let alone the finals, we all got straight A's. Beat that for a senior project

Your question and the project don't seem related based on how they are currently phrased although I'm sure you could make some kind of connection across 10 pages of text.

Here's an alternate (but similiar) suggestion...

Question:
How has autoracing changed the image and econmic standing of the aftermarket parts industry and the auto industry as a whole?

Same project: racing lessons

Then the meat of your paper could be a case study on a company like Bimmerworld which has sucessfully integrated actual racing with thier aftermarkets parts business. Maybe discuss how racing drives develpment, testing, advertising, etc. You could also also work in discussion of ///M, NISMO, TRD, and the like.
