Clutch for Auto-X? - Page 2

Ok, so I'm going to get the Sachs replacement OEM from BAVauto, and I think I'm gonna get the Rouge Engineering SSK. Anything else I should do when I have it apart? I've heard that there's a valve I should delete?

Zeckhausen CDV (Clutch Delay Valve) - this is a drilled out version so it 'deletes' the valve
Bavauto also sells one

It takes the training wheels off clutch engagement

How much does the CDV delete change the engagement? My wife also drives it...

I'd say it makes it easier to drive unless you're just learning manual

I found a remanufactured clutch on getbmwparts.com. I've never delt with those, are the a good deal or a bad part?

So 2 weeks after I get the car the A/C died and I got pissed. I called up the dealer I bought it from, and I think they're gonna fix both issues for free! I'll find out tomorrow what's going on- I dropped it off this am.

New clutch from Bavarian Motor Experts here in Honolulu, got the dealer to fix it for free!!
