Good luck dude! I did this had it all the way out, took it in to have it tested and it tested fine you can get to both bolts from the top with a box wrench I believe it was a 3/8in. take you time and have patience it's not an easy job!

If you really can't find anything searching start your own thread devoted to specifically this. you might have a real software issue tow it to the dealer have them diagnose it then fix it yourself if possible.

Make your own thread, and don't thread-jack OP's and you might get some help?


OP, have the same problem but I'm pretty sure it's the clutch safety switch. I can can get the car started by taking it off, putting it back on and trying to start, repeating and it will start. I might just suck it up and order a new one after checking through all fuses.

i've just recently had this happen to me... including the sometimes random starting. turned out to be the ignition switch... which after taxes and everything ran me $482 and some change at the dealer. i was taking it there anyways for the subframe issue... (mine was cracked and they replaced it)
