Man.. reading all that gave me a headache!
Do you really need to go thru ALL that just to pass inspection? Well, I know I just PMed you... but I have another place you can try! They have Even older gear to do inspections so the guy is super cool/fast when it comes to Euro cars (hint hint) So, don't do all that jazz listed above. Just go straight to this guy (Shell station - with a Red&White OLD chevy parked out front - Corner of N.W.Hwy and Easton Rd) and see if you Pass first . If not, then go to the previous place I mentioned (way above). And if all that fails, then try your method(s) |

i would buy a scantool to check the if the monitors are ready or not your only allow one sensor not to be ready so it should be easy for you to get this done since you only had 2 not ready with one more you will be able to pass no problems

According to the BMW drive cycle sheet, I have to let my car idle from a cold start for about two minutes and then drive it between 40-59 on the highway for about 15 minutes.... Hopefully this works as I have failed once and been rejected 2x for my OBD catalyst and secondary air.
