Thanks for this thread and the other one in the DIY section for giving me motivation to tear apart the car!

Hey guys, how do you perform a full light/needle cluster test?

Did you see my post above? It has a high res image of the cluster PCB. You can probably make out the orientation of the LEDs from that.

I also don't see how you could have messed this up. If one of the LEDs is out, then it's going to be a pain to figure out which one, so I suggest powering each one (i.e. testing) individually before soldering onto the PCB.

Nah it's ok didn't have lights turned on was just displaying my odometer and that I got it working will get a pic of the whole set up later

My needles aren't 100% working fuel and temp working, pretty sure speed is alright too but my rev needle is off need to go back and read up on it understand few people had problems with it

It drops below the Mark and once engine is turn on sits at the .5 Mark

Also might of went too heavy on the sharpie mod couldn't get red sharpie at local store but said any old red marker will do I was wrong they won't illuminate now gotta try get some of the marker off

I took my gauges out to the car probably 5 times before putting the bezel and case on it, to turn the car on and adjust the needles to the correct places. once they go where they belong and stay there, put it all back together and your good to go =D

When you put the needles back on, make sure to spin them on counter clockwise. That way wherever you spin them to, they will "set" at that position.
