did this today finally. PITA for sure. i notice i have window lock button. Plus the 'workings' of my window switches dont look like yours at all. My LEDs were an absolute nightmare to get out. I prevailed and am happy its over but i sincerely hope the remainder of my interior isnt as difficult. Anyone else have a similar experience?

can you do this for the rear door window switches? Add an LED where they wasn't one to begin with?

If i get chance I will pop out my rear window switches in my touring and see what they look like inside. I would assume for cost reasons BMW would keep them as similar as possible so I would imagine they are hollow. The LEDs aren't in a holder or anything, they are simply soldered to the power feed and use the legs to position them. I'm sure you could come up with something Delmarco you're the DIY guru!!

Scott.

If you know someone who can code these cars, you should also mod your switches to have two positions for closing the rear windows (so that you can use he 1-touch close functionality)

Started my UV conversion. All the window switches, sunroof, the main switch for the lights, and over head leds changed =) waiting for more time off to change the radio and gauges =D... awesome.. they look awesome. This stuff takes a longgggg time.. but well worth it to be different.

Main Light switch, these look deep purple in real life, phone takes crappy pics.

The third smd failed on my, have to redo it.

Also put in the one for the lock button. waiting to do the window lock.

Close up.

More to come =)

How do you change the DSC Light??? Ive taken it out and looked at it and tried heating it up and pulling but to no avail, also having difficulty with the window lock but may have figured out a trick there.
