Doggies, the game here is vigilant with a short bias. This action has solidified the summer range. This is a stockpickers market meaning it's time to buy the dip and sell the rip. I will be getting long at stabilization near support and going short near resistance. Potential correction numbers off of 1370: 5%=1302; 7%=1274; and 10%=1233. My MAJOR support areas are 1338, 1307, 1274, and 1235. SPX
I'll be posting my thoughts through the day. I reckon this action has scared off a few people and that's not a bad thing. The summer is time to lower your exposure. If you guys have questions, I'll do my best to help you out.

Brief question...........
Berkshire Hathaway , as I see it; is basically a large mutual fund. BRKH does not actually produce anything, they invest in other companies that do. So why is their stock listed on the NYSE with stocks and not under the section with mutual funds ? |

Unlike an ETF or mutual fund, Bershire acquires companies and doesn't simply invest in them. Shares of BRK/A or BRK/B are investments in the company Berkshire Hathaway, not purchases of an investment tool itself as is the case when you buy into a fund. Shareholders of funds also have different rights than shareholders of companies like Berkshire.

Something short and sweet tonight that I've been thinking about. A 98% win rate is only as good as the P/L ratio. I'd much rather have a 40% win rate with a ratio of 3 than an 85% win rate with a ratio of 2. In this game you will be wrong many times, you will lose money all the time. The trick is outsizing your gains and not letting your losses outsize you.

Changed my color profile to green and purple. It's less provocative, it changes meaning and therefore reactivity. One day using it and I already notice a difference.

![]() BTW, what is your background. It seems that about 3/4 of your recommendations pan out. That is a good track record. Did you learn this on your own or were you a stock broker at one time ? Thanks for the educational tips... |

I'm nobody. I've read probably 200 trading books. Mostly psyche, quant, and technical analysis. I'm still in college. Working my way towards behavioral finance PhD.
