Checkout FVE. Bought 1,000 shares today.

Not really planning on going long anything right now. VIX failed to go below 30, still in a downtrend, S&P failed to recapture the 200sma daily, etc..

Do any of you guys know if you have to actually be mentored or under a firms wing to be allowed to take the Series 55?

Did some paper money forex tonight. Interesting. I wouldn't mind doing that for an hour or 2 every night.

I like AMD here with a stop around 7.55 and a target of 9 initially then a push through the 100day sma to the upper 9's likely (if the entire market doesn't die off that is lol )

Had a trading question for you guys-One of my friends and long time professional trader is trying to find someone or somewhere that can automate his SEC filing searches using his criteria. He wants some sort of a search and retreival program so he can save time getting the information he wants to look at. He already posted an add on craigslist for a programmer, where else should he look?

We both us TOS for trading platforms, was in PUT options on RIG the day of the fire/explosion, waiting for indices to turn back up before I go long.

I feel a market dump coming

Any opinions on IRE? I might put some money into it. I know IRE is risky...but i am taking a long position.

Every indicator I use says to run from IRE. It appears to be a hooker with red spots and puss oozing from the private areas. Could be oversold but the market is up over the past 12 months and IRE is down, significantly down. There is a reason for that. Better financial plays out there imo.

Starting to move

Well, looks like I called AMD a couple days too early. Did get down to my suggested stop but has rebounded nicely and is closing in on the initial $9 target now.

I'm hvy on tech right now... Its been beaten down. Google, Dell

CROX, AAI, MENT


Opened VG this morning and went to class. Came back to +15%. Did not expect that at all. It was a small position. Darn.

I did pretty good today Hopefully the market can keep it up for a little. I'm not expecting a huge run to 11,000 or anything, but it would be nice for a little time frame to make some money back. The DOW broke above the 200 DMA today, good sign, but we shall see if it can hold above.
