They are a pharmaceutical company that is currently in R&D and they are awaiting approval of their first insulin drug from the FDA.

They completed their clinical trials on Afrezza with excellent results.

I feel their stock will pop once their product goes on the market because an insulin inhaler is pretty revolutionary.
Revolutionary 4 years ago when they were the first was approved by the FDA. Pfizer and others already have insulin inhalers on the market. (I'm diabetic, I keep up with these things). Patients and doctors didn't take to the idea though and pfizer discontinued it's line due to lack of demand. Others may have them still on the market but no one wanted to use them for the most part.

On top of that, what Bmwman said. Bio-tech plays are way too high risk for my style of trading and cost a lot of people a lot of money every year but people keep coming back because of the occasional one that actually does skyrocket. I won't touch them or penny stocks with any money I wouldn't toss at the lottery or on a craps table.

What they said. I've played RNN a bunch of times totaling something like 50%+, but that's only because I'm a pro. Or is it because I live dangerously? Not sure yet. jk

Jeff, buy MGM back?

Crappy market. I was able to hedge myself a little over the past few days but didn't do enough.

off-topic but wouldn't people rather inhale insulin than inject it?

Sounds like the people made their choice when the sales numbers came in.

It's not odorless or tasteless so some just won't like it for either the odor or the taste. Beside that though is the concern many have about change. Currently I take 2 shots of long term insulin daily and use short term insulin shots for eating and to correct blood sugar levels if they are off. Calculating how much to take is kind of a guessing game (how many carbs are in that meal and how much insulin does that require me to use) with past knowledge being very helpful in having good control. Changing types of insulin and past knowledge is no longer reliable which means poor control until you get it figured out again. Why do that if I'm already used to taking 5-8 shots per day or already have good control using an insulin pump? Not worth the risks to most (poor control results in poor health and additional risk of secondary complications like failed kidneys and blindness up to and including coma and death).

Check out STX. The chart is crappy but the fundamentals look great, as long as they don't swing to losses again

I know the market is forward looking and markets tend to climb walls of worries, but I think the U.S. economy will be weak for sometime and unemployment will be high for a while.

Put/Call ratio 126%. Historically, the 120% level has been a big area for rallies.

NYSE Trend Indicator closes at 5.97. Anything above 3 brings big rallies.

4% of S&P is trading above it's 50 day.

All-in-All I'm prepared for a move to the downside, but I'm shooting for a big rally.

People, don't try to pick a bottom or catch the knife. I'm not.

Here comes the sell off. I am only 35% invested right now... I think we are going lower.
