Project:Fiberglass Sub box for my MB R CLASS (PIC)

ok today i started making my a fiberglass box for two L7 solo baric for the family van after coming from home depot with wood and sh!t and a cut here and there this is what i have so far: sorry for the big pics

looks good so far. cant wait to see it done. i have 1 L7 12 that ill be doing a fiberglass box for in the near future. so ill be keeping an eye on this thread.

Looks like a good start.

My only comment is that you should used a router with a rabbit bit on the edges of your speaker rings on the outside edges of the box. That way, you have something to staple the edges of the molding fabric to. Plus, you will get a much better bond between the FG and MDF portions. Not to mention that you will likely have to do a lot of sanding on the speaker rings to get them flat so you can mount the speaker.

Box looks nice ! Is it going to be a sealed enclosure ? they sound okay in sealed, but they are really made for vented enclosures, and perform much better in them.
