Thanks for the responses on the rims guys but spending is on hold for now on the bimmer. Just picked up a '71 chevy big block pickup to play around and tow/haul stuff with. I'm going to reconsider a second set of rims in the spring

Yes, got a $108 ticket by a plymouth cop.
Just put it in your windshield and you'll be ok.

ive had my plate on my M5 in my windshield all summer with no issues (knocks on wood)

The plate has to be on the front bumper.

If it isn't, you can be ticketed.

Whether or not you are ticketed is up to the cop, but if you are younger, you ever drive fast, you ever drive drunk, you ever ride dirty, you ever do anything that catches the cop's eye, he now has a reason to pull you over and you are subject to the attention you receive.

If you're not worried about any of those things, and you can handle a $100 ticket every once in a while, hang it on the wall of your garage.

E46 has a tear in the subframe off to the Dealer for 1-2 weeks. More incentive to get the 850 running right so I have a car to drive
