I have a fairly good knowledge of the hills of western Wisconsin. I've been hitting them at least twice a month for the last 18 years when weather is good. a couple of my good friends and myself have a cool route that we includes a section we call the Pepinburg Ring (for good reason). ~3 hours round trip. includes Welch rd, county rd 60 into Wabasha & up the Chippewa river. let me know if you want whole thing

couple pics from our last run last year

They're often referred to as the "Alphabet Roads" due to the roads all being letter names. Do a web search and you can learn all about SW Wisconsin's driving roads.

Ok so a interesting story for you guys...
As I am driving home from work traveling WB on I-94 going about 85 I usually get off at Hemlock Ln. but today I thought I'd get off at Weaver Lake Road instead. So as I am going around the curve where 494 and 94 split I start picking up Ka band. I slow down and right as I am completing the curve the V1 goes crazy and I get a full Ka band alert (the cop still cant see me at this point)
I complete the curve and see the Maple Grove Police sitting in the median right before Weaver Lake Road facing WB traffic with his radar on.
This was all in my stealth setup so I thought I would go and make a video and show you guys that the v1 stealth setup still picks up as normal.
So I get back on 94 at Hemlock ln to record this and right as I hit the ramp there is another Maple Grove cop on my @ss. The second time around the cop in the speed trap turned it to instant on and I turned my phone off so the troll behind me wouldnt pull me over so I wasn't able to get it on video. I wish I did.
Seriously though, Maple Grove cops are trolls.

Also is anyone interested in splitting a 20L ATF container with me? I need to do a ATF change soon and I dont need 20liters. lol
It would be $250 per 10l for the
ESSO ATF LT 71141 BMW PART NUMBER 83 22 9 407 807

I know I can use other fluids, but I'd rather not risk it. This is something I am wiling to pay for the BMW sticker.

Was going to chime in on this as well. OE fluid is not made by BMW anyway. I run Pentosin in my car. They make the fluid for BMW (my application anyhow). I think your wasting money buying from BMW.

Besides, if you're doing this DIY, I don't think you be able to get 10L out unless you're using a transfusion style machine to flush it out. Maybe Seth should chime on this

I changed my transmission pan gasket last summer. Just opening the plug I got about six quarts out. I bought fluid from motorwerks and it wasn't cheap. I'd bet that using dextron 3 would work fine but it's still worth it to me for the peace of mind.

Yeah the problem is that it ships in 20l containers.
My car requires the ESSO type ATF which comes in 20l containers.

Other E46 auto transmissions require different types of fluids and BMW sells those in 1L bottles.

If no one wants to split with me I will probably end up buying from BavAuto for $25/qt.

The Valentine One is $400
The stealth setup is $500

I'm thinking of purchasing a L/I setup as well.
