I have been mountain biking for about three years now. I have a Trek and I just love it. I just wish I had a better place to, Indiana is way to flat where I am at. Also has anyone ever tried out fox racing clothing while they ride? Just looking to get some feedback on it.

You are correct. It's quite possibly the dumbest terminology ever, but when you realize that the old toe cages were referred to as "clips", it starts to make sense why the pedals you clip into are called "clipless".

Hi guys. I'm ready to buy a mtn bike. Thinking of a hardtail for the price factor. I will be doing some trail, beach and just around the house. Will be pull my daughter in a trailer as well. I am looking to spend 300 to 500. Cheaper the better. What do you experts recommend for me? I looked at Avalanche GT 3.0 (Performance Bike), Windsor 4500 & 4700 (Bikesdirect.com). Not sure what I should look for. Any help would be appreciate.

Anyone been mountain biking lately? I just got back from a ride, ate sh!t super hard and my ankle is really swollen. but it was super fun before that. I'll have video of it soon. Here's a video from the other day that my friend took. He crashes into me (I had just crashed and was standing up) at 8:16

and here are some pics I took along the way

Just got back from a long ride myself just now. Sadly no pics. Everybody thought someone else would bring a camera for sure.

The dog can run and run and run. That ride was a solid 25 miles with a solid 2500 feet of elevation and he was right there the whole time.

You should force yourself to get out and ride. I get lazy sometimes but it just takes one refresher to get you back into it.

It was something like 20 miles I believe. We've never added it all up.

He really is, and all with that long black coat... we constantly give him water and he's always resting in the shade, but still absolutely loves it.
