Wattage Inquiry

so i'm planning on buying the alpine cda-9815, but here's the thing:

the 9815 puts out 60Wx4, whereas my amp puts out 50Wx4. should I even bother with the amp then?

if i still decide to run the amp, is there an internal amp muting circuit in the 9815?

even though the deck says it will produce 60x4 in almost every single case will not produce the 60x4. From what i know it would produce somewhere like 23-27 watts. 60x4 mean that the deck can push it for maybe a half second where it doesn't even do anything. if i was u i would get the amp. i will sound much better.

im not sure what u are refering to when u say internal mounting circuit.

internal amp MUTING circuit. is there a feature to turn off the internal amp completely to improve the signal going to the amp? a lot of HUs tout it as a feature but i can't find it in an 9815 literature

My Alpine CDA 7893 has a POWER IC OFF function to turn the internal amp off, this makes more current available for the head unit to drive the pre-amp circuits and hence the output down the RCA leads to the amps is better. Final result is better sound quality!!!
