That looks like some good vinyl.
Try it. if you dont like it you can always remove it.

Don't buy from there. The vinyl I got from that place doesn't like to go around corners, and looks purpleish in the sun. Not to mention it has no texture. Go with 3M.

If a sponsor sold something similar that could stand up to the weather and install easy, I might buy one. I would want UV protection though and no damage to the paint when it was removed 3 years later due to the weather. Euro Spec offered a CF 3M stick on roof years ago.....they do not offer it anymore. Some people I think thought water would get under it and mess with the stock roof paint. This is something I am looking at though. This or something black on the roof would make my car flow. Without other CF parts....it might look out of place though.

From my research....this is supposed to be the best. I have no experience with it so I can not give my personal opinion. They use this on everything from laptops to phones. Not sure how it holds up with the weather though.

Hope this helps. Some other members know more about this than I do. Just something I was watching. Could not be any worse than a black vinyl roof wrap. Granted....costs a bit more.

I would PM Navin on here as he is the expert on CF things.

who cares if somebody , it's not their car!

OP it's your car, do what you want and be sure to post pics! I can vouch for 3M di-noc being top notch, none on my car yet but I skinned my macbook with it. easy to work with and very good quality.

Let them try it if they want....they are putting up the money. Never really seen people stare at the roof of a car. With the CF wrap material getting so popular....let them do what they want to do. I have not seen it in person so I can't comment on it. Tons of people here have black cars with black rims....and that is played out and could be called rice also...... But, if they like it....more power to them. Lots of people have loud exhaust pipes on a BMW E46 that makes them happy....but I would not put one on my around 200HP car....but if it makes them happy....let them do it.

I could never feel like I accomplished anything if a just put a big sticker on my roof thinking it looks cool... Do whatever you want but I just dont see how it can be seen in anyones eyes as "cool"

vinyl is vinyl.
carbon fiber is carbon fiber.
2 VERY DIFFERENT MATERIALS.
A carbon fiber vinyl is VINYL aka PLASTIC.
If you get the carbon fiber vinyl, slap on an M3 badge too since you are faking it.
