I know when I sold cars back in the day (which was a Thursday BTW) I called everyone I possibly could and even went through the phone book and called people, trying to get them to come in and buy or come back and buy.

Maybe they think you're a tire kicker. Dunno what would give them that impression, but they're being lazy for some reason.

lol, no it really drones a lot at cruising. It straight 3" pipe from the headers except a 200 cell racecat and a magnaflow muffler.

i wear ear plugs when i drive my M3 on the highway to the track. it drones like hell around 3K RPM.
at the track when i spend most of my time between 6.5K-8K RPM it doesn't bother me at all and a helmet is enough to damp the noise.

It gave me a headache after a while on the highway, lol. But from outside the car it sounds great, like a stock car

Oh yea, I talked to the Mazda stealership yesterday, they said that they were still waiting on parts for the protege; needed a new WGA and ECV. I guess the wastegate was toast and wasn't holding any boost, which is exactly what I thought as the car felt like it was only running on motor. Once it gets that boost in there, the car should be putting down around 200WHP and 190WTQ from what I've read which is pretty outstanding for a car that weighs 2800lbs

Yea I did, thanks Gar, only problem is that I'd have to sell mine and I don't think that would happen anytime soon and I don't think I'd get what I needed out of it. Otherwise I would love to take a look at it but right now I'd just be dreamin.

Thanks, we completely reset everything on the car, every fault/error code that ever once existed is now gone. We also reset all of the adaptation values (which we didn't do last time) so it's as if the car was just delivered to the showroom floor, in hopes that the car will learn to use the A/F mixture from the intake vs the stock setup. Also learned that the airbag light is on because of my damn passenger seat belt tensioner

If the car will run better now and the SES will stay off then I may have a bit more of a bargaining chip with the stealer as they made a pretty big fuss about the SRS light, which now I know has nothing to do with the airbag itself...damn BMW sensor natzies.
