Just found a broken rear spring when I was effing around trying some dubs on my car, HAHA. So I've got some 20x9 wheels for sale and I need new springs. Thinking of the H&R sport or the Tein s types that Dominick has on his xi. Up for suggestions on the struts and shocks. What are you guys running?

haha that sig is awesome! I like the Koni's a lot, I know Alton has a set of the H&R race and Koni yellows(i think they were the yellows) and they ride really nice. Danny had done the teins but they were pretty stiff (that was on a M3 so I don''t know if they are different spring rates). I do have to say that Dominick's setup did look pretty awesome last time we saw it...

Yeah, I got the 20's for $100 with pretty decent tires from a guy with too much money in Boulder. I couldn't resist putting them on my car before I made a couple bucks off of them. I laughed pretty hard for about an hour after taking the pics. Thanks for the info Brandon I have been leaning toward the koni yellows (have koni blues on the e30 that I really like) I'll do some digging on spring rates before I commit to a setup. I will probably be looking to do the suspension within the next month or so if anyone knows someone with a lift that would be willing to help for beer and or money exchange that would be awesome!

Went for a drive up Deer Creek canyon all he way to south Turkey Creek canyon. Had a good time, especially with the new rtabs and limiters

Took a few quick pics of how the car sits now. I can't wait to get some wheels on this thing.

Looks great! Are you getting rid of the stock shoes when you get new ones?

Yeah I probably will. I may pick up a set of OEM 18's as the secondaries to whatever I buy. I wish I'd kept the TE37 reps I had on the 330 now lol.

Suprised you parted the te37's. Are your current wheels 19's?

That's true, I'm looking at the ARC-8 right now in the aggressive offset, but 19s just look at home on these cars. I have a set of OZ Ultraleggeras but they would need some spacers on the rear because they're 18X9 square with an offset of 40mm so I would need a 20mm spacer. So I would've had to put the 90mm studs in.

Yeah I had busted 2 tires and I didn't have the Jeep at that time so the 330 had to be the dependable car. Oh well. Yeah the M has the 19" package on it.

I'm thinking we may be able to do the suspension Thursday night. I'll let you know this evening.

Just joking man, anytime when you are free. Just want to open it up and check the shocks and springs while I am there.

Thinking to go Koni str.t's with stock springs or may be H&R sports if it needs replacing.

Edit: Getting a replacement HK front tweeter tomorrow. Finally I there will be able to listen to music without crackling. May be finally getting tint this week or next.
What percent do you guys think would be good for steel gray with beige interior? 30% is legal limit, isn't it?

Brandon,

Do the RTAB's wear out due to age as well as mileage? I believe my build date was 9 years ago this month. The rear-end feels pretty tight, but if we're having another garage day I may want to consider replacing mine as well. 9 years in the dry air of CO is probably killing anything rubber.

I can supply the garage if necessary, but y'all will have to drive out to Castle Rock. I know it's far, but just think of all the miles of enjoyment you'll have driving back!!
