I can use 6 ton jackstands and I can trade you some smaller ones for them if you want...

My Ride: '89 944 Turbo
FS: 2005 Audi A4 1.8T Quattro, Tiptronic

This is my wife's car. We bought it from Prestige with 17k miles on it as a CPO car in 2007 and have had it ever since. It's gotten all maintenance from either Prestige under warranty or Autobahn. Oil changes with Mobil 1 and the OEM big filters every 5000 miles. Timing belt and water pump were changed at 60k miles.

Silver with black leather. Quattro, Premium package (sunroof/Homelink), winter package (heated seats/ski sack), Bose/XM radio. Car has never been in an accident or had paintwork. However, since it's my wife's car it has it's share of small parking lot bruises. Think minor scrapes, not dents...

84k miles on it, good working condition. Two sets of OEM wheels included, one with snows, the other with all seasons. OEM rubber winter mats. All service records included.

NADA says $14,3xx for it, I'll let it go to a Fanatic for $13,000 obo.

Still need to some work under the car so 6 tons would probably give me bigger clearance. I need to do the fuel filter, a new fuel filter has been sitting in my trunk for a long time. The first try was unsuccessful because of low clearance with the jack stands I used. Literally couldn't move my hands even to unscrew the bolts down there.
After this I guess I can trade you for smaller ones.

I guess we need another DIY day so we can get together and take care of some things.

My list is fuel filter, RTABs, RSMs, lower intake boot, DISA, coolant flush and OFHG(I can do that on my own but just being lazy. I am losing oil, new VCG didn't decrease the oil consumption)

PS: I wish your audi was a sedan or a coupe. I just bought a mazda 626 as a daily but will be getting rid of it soon and getting another german made. May be a 1 series or an e92

Oh sorry TJ, should've made myself a little more clear about the jack and stands. I have a set, I was just using them that evening. When I get the garage finished (decided to rip out the redneck shelving unit in my garage the prior owner had "fabricated") I'm finishing that up tomorrow evening and probably this weekend. After that we should be good to go on a DIY day.

I just figured I need a set anyway since I have an e46 so I bought them.
I know what you are talking about the previous owner screwing up the house. I helped a friend to re-do his basement because the previous owner had put the carpet without gluing them properly and it started having air pockets everywhere. So, we had to rip the carpet out and hard floor it. Almost took 3 weekends.

Thanks for the link, I need a few small dents on the quarter panel removed.

Anyone have a welder? I need to weld some tabs back onto that Topspeed muffler I'm selling.

Yeah it's a good thing to have jack stands if you'll be getting under the car. I'm almost done with that little project so we should be able to get you fixed up

That place was good, a little hard to find but delicious. Took pictures afterwards and got a few good pics. I think Alton took some more.

Yeah suspension is the most logical. I've got a short shifter as well that was going to go in the e30 but, I think it will work in the e46. Probably be trying to do the work in july sometime if you're still down to help me out Brandon.

Yeah I'm always up for that. I've only worked on Daniel's Xi so there are several things that I'm not quite familiar with, but I have a Bentely if we need it. I don't think there are all that many parts that are different from the RWD models so we should be good.

I thought you were going to keep them mounted.

I am sure a caddy or an impala is rocking them now.
