Just wondering how important is changing balljoints, and what is the downside if I just leave the old ones in there. They're about $40 on rmeuropean and I need 4 of them. The car will be used by my brother as a daily driver when I'm gone.

From my inspection, the rear tires shows no sign of uneven wear (If that's relevant)
If they're original, they're fried. If you can move them with your hand when the control arms are disconnected, they're fried. They won't necessarily cause excessive rear tire wear, but they really contribute to getting the rear end to feel tight and stable.

looks like i may be running FP this season instead of SM... PAX is actually softer ... .877 (SM) vs .876 (FP) ... cool.

yep, probably because FP isn't a very highly contested class... or at least isn't fully prep'd to the extend of the rules, thus softening their results YOY.

either way, it should be good for at least this season

would you be pissed if anyone showed up in your class ?
he's alone too, i figured he'd be happy to have a class-mate
besides, there is no way i can get down to my allowable min-weight (2,400 lbs) and his Mini is well on the way with those carbon body panels and gutted doors, etc.

oh don't worry garrett... i'm on your side... i just don't think he'll ever keep up with you (considering my EP truck beats him by 1.5s usually)... but he's a hard worker who wants to stay on top of his class... having you come in and dick slap him might be interesting to watch

Wait, wait, wait. I never said I'd beat or even come close to beating these guys. Honestly, I don't think there is a chance in hell. JAzzy's just trying to talk me into beating them. All I want to do it not get last in SM, lol. Hopefully the 285's all around will help that.

Wow, that's embarrassing. What a bunch of fools. I wouldn't be caught dead doing anything like this $hit. Plus, I've never seen the video so I wouldn't know if what they are doing is their own work or if its a copycat version of the original video.

what do you guys use on your black exterior trim? My windshield cowl thingy is kinda gray and I was looking to go buy something and give it a good rub down, what do you guys recommend?

Preferably something I can buy locally.

I use back to black http://www.amazon.com/Mothers-6108-B.../dp/B0002U1TXK

It works pretty well. However, I have heard that Forever Black is better.
