I'm in Leipzig, Germany right now. Should be in Colorado by noonish.
Hey Ryan, I'll need to know a good time to stop by so I can at least pick up my clothes. Just PM me hours that you should be home. I might come over Friday night or I might come over Saturday. IDK yet.

Spent some time the last few nights cutting off unnecessary bolts and catches with an angle grinder.

after i was bored of that i started working on the wiring. these germans did a lot of wiring and bundling, it is very difficult to leave the just the wires i need without cutting every loom open.. so i just left most of the looms in place and moved some around that are close to the seats.

then i moved on to getting the dash back in, since i was kind of stuck between not knowing where to route the wires without knowing exactly where the dash would interfere.

i was pretty much pooped after all this, so i did a quick 'lightweight' door pull, since i don't have anything to grab to close the door if/when the windows are rolled up. it's just some nylon strapping and two bolts intended for the side airbag.

and lastly... a teaser.
this came today, needs some customizing to fit properly, but it will be much lighter than that heavy moonroof cassette overhead.

Nice work Garrett, I might need some help when i pull my dash I can only imagine what the CF sunroof panel will help with weight wise. The sunroof cartridge is heavy. How are you going to address the possible leaks from the sunroof panel?

I believe he has some racetech seats
