This might be taboo

Does anybody know where I can download a Bentley manual for a 2003 325xi? I know they are out there and I would love to save $80+. Thanks.

I have actually tried it and cannot find any working sites. There are a ton of places that say they have it including .torrent sites but nothing I have found works.

I bought the ebay one; it's great. Between that and this forum I've been set.

The advantage of the manual is its a book and you can have it laying out when working and you aren't afraid to touch it with dirty hands.

If you are going to DL something to use on a computer, just download BMW TIS or buy a CD for 12 bucks on ebay. TIS and WDS are much better than the Bentley.

Because I use both. Books are easier to kick around than a computer. If I had a computer laying around I would use TIS.

The TIS has step by step, plus navigation to sub assemblies with a click, then you can press back and continue on your main assembly. In addition, TIS has all the Tqs at a click, all the CAUTIONS noted, better diagrams and arrow markers, etc. Its just better than the Bently. It covers more too.

What TIS lacks is its on a computer and you cant kick it under the car, spill on it, or lay it in the engine bay. So a Bently on computer, is really pointless to me, when you can have TIS.

great explaination!! i was under the impression that the TIS didnt have step by step like the bentley did (i have never seen for myself so i cant say if it was true or not), and that it was more just for diagnosis work. I stand corrected tho. Thanks!!

Only thing about TIS is since its made for BMW techs it will have tons of "use Special tool blah blah" type remarks, whereas the bentley will be more likely to say use a screwdriver if the special tool is just a screwdriver

You can buy 24 hour passes to the Bentley manual you desire. I think it was 10-15$. Then you may or may not be able to print each and every page to PDF. I may or may not have done this, and it may or may not have taken about 30 minutes.
